Historique :	La chapelle Saint-Fiacre du Faouët fut érigée entre 1450 et 1480 dans un fief appartenant aux Boutteville depuis 1430, une famille d'origine normande proche des Montfort. La présence des Ducs de Bretagne est très forte dans cet édifice (armes sculptées, statue du Duc JeanV). La richesse architecturale avec une façade occidentale qui fera école et un magnifique porche Sud ainsi que la richesse du mobilier intérieur témoignent de l'importance de cette chapelle. Le splendide jubé en bois polychrome réalisé vers 1480-1490 est l'oeuvre de l'atelier trégorrois d'Olivier Le Loergan, annobli par le duc François II en 1469. La niche en bois polychrome abritant la statue en pierre du saint éponyme est selon toute vraisemblance issue du même atelier que le jubé.

Précision sur_l'état :	Oeuvre restaurée en 2010 par l'Atelier Coréum. La niche a sans doute été déplacée : le socle est un assemblage bizarre avec un corbelet et un socle en cul-de-lampe. D'autre part, son positionnement à droite dans le choeur ne correspond pas à la présentation du saint dédicataire de l'édifice.
Précision_sur la representation :	Niche de style gothique flamboyant à la mode à la fin du 15ème et au début du 16ème siècle, dais à plusieurs registres finement ciselés.
