Description :	Tuffeau. Retable à trois niveaux horizontaux et à trois travées (un corps central et deux ailes incurvées). Soubassement avec stylobates et deux portes avec motifs peints de saint Pierre et saint Paul. Niveau intermédiaire avec toile peinte (La Trinité), deux colonnes en marbre encadrent les ailes, au centre, niches avec statues de la Vierge à l'Enfant (au Nord) et de saint Joseph, décor de chutes de fleurs et de fruits et consoles ornées d'angelots, frise de rinceaux et modillons. Le niveau supérieur se compose d'une niche centrale avec statue de la Trinité (17e siècle), de part et d'autre de la niche, fronton rompu avec anges orant et volutes surmontées de pots de feu, corbeilles de fleurs en couronnement des ailes et pot à feu aux extrémités.

Historique :	Ce retable de type lavallois est contemporain de la chapelle tréviale de la Trinité-sur-Mer, construite en 1682. La Trinité-sur-Mer dépendait de Carnac. L'édifice a été agrandi vers 1935-1940 : c'est à cette époque que le retable a été recouvert d'un enduit blanc (cas similaire à Pluméliau où le retable classé a été remis en polychromie en 1979).
