Historique :	Selon Laetitia Barragué-Zouita, conservateur chargée du département du Moyen-âge et de la Renaissance au Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille, ce Christ a probablement été réalisé dans les anciens Pays-Bas à la fin du XVe siècle. Il n'a rien à voir avec les trois reliefs de retable du château de Loyat, comme cela a pu être évoqué.

Précision_sur la representation :	Le Christ aux longs cheveux et aux traits fins est vêtu d'un périzonium court noué sur le devant. Un grand manteau retenu par un fermail cache sa quasi nudité. Un pli en demi-cercle, artificiellement crée, gonfle le pan gauche du manteau. La main droite est levée et la main gauche tendue dans un geste d'accueil ou de présentation. la tête est légèrement inclinée en avant, les yeux sont dirigés vers le bas.
